Black Citadel Armour

felidae-charr:

So then, let’s kick things off with an armour post!

So as we saw in an earlier photoset, Felidae is decked out in one piece of a level 35 Black Citadel armour set. Heavy shoulders, to be precise.

For those who aren’t aware of where to find this particular set, I’d like to try and enlighten you as best as I can! It’s quite easy to find once you know where you’re going: in the centre of Black Citadel at Imperator’s Core you can find three armorsmiths. They reside on the second level of the three (so up the first flight of “stairs” as it were) and the first armorsmith with the level 35 armour is practically in front of you as you reach the second level.

He’s in the back behind a couple of NPCs, but he’s pretty easy to spot. He sells level 35 Black Citadel armour sets of all variations (leather/heavy/etc). The armour is Rare (yellow) and costs 1 gold each piece, so it’s somewhat expensive but not impossible to buy. It also, to my knowledge, has no additional stats, which is kind of sad considering how expensive it is, but also possesses a slot that can be used. (If I’m remembering right, anyway.)

Not level 35 though? Higher level, in fact? No worries!

You’ll notice the level 35 armour is numbered “1” in the name. This is because there are actually three different armour sets available - set 2 and set 3 are for higher level players and presumably look greatly more badass. The second set is sold by an armorsmith on the same second floor as the first, and you can find her by following the wall to the left. The third can then be found by following the wall left yet again from the second Charr.

Knowing that there’s specific Charr home city armour sets available, maybe it’s time for Felidae to travel to the Norn and Human home cities in the next beta weekend and see if they have their own special armorsmiths selling unique Rare armour sets!

Huh! Thanks for this information. I’m not anywhere near level 35, but it’ll help me plan things out for when I do get up there.
