It was a fun stress test! Got to another great Tumblr peep for the first time! *waves*

Someone opened a box of fun at the end of the stress test in Divinity’s Reach. It was the first time I got to mess around with one and I got a few shots of tiny Nipp and gianormous Nipp! :)

Charr on a bike! Now that’s an awesome concept!

Not sure if Guild Wars 2 has been made easier, or I’m just getting better at it.

They actually did tweak the difficulty levels — the Devs have stated that during the beta weekend on the forum. There was a pretty big thread going on about it the whole time. I have a feeling they’re going to keep balancing it, though, as many players believed that it became a little TOO easy this time.

the devs gave us, Hunger Games as the final event D:

I couldn’t make it to the final event. It was too late at night for me. What all happened this time, guys?

Time for some of my own screens from the final BWE!

I rolled quite a few characters this time around including an Asuran thief, a human warrior, human ranger and a few attempts at a Sylvari that I didn’t screen shot for whatever reason. And of course Nipp! :)

Got some pics with my guildies, family and friends!

Big debate in the official GW2 forums about vistas

theitinerantmesmersjournal:

The link is here:

https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/forum/game/gw2/Vista-Points-The-Grove

The consensus opinion that seems to be forming (which I support) is that vistas and jumping puzzles should by all means remain in the game, but that they should be separated from map completion.  Map completion should revert to its pre-BWE 3 requirements, and vistas/jumping puzzles should be given an achievement category of their own with commensurate rewards, XP and otherwise, for those desiring the additional challenge.

Do you agree or disagree?

I really like the idea of vistas. I didn’t get hardcore on them during BWE since I had so many other things I was doing. It doesn’t personally bother me that they’re a part of map completion — but I’m the type of person who will fall off of something a million times until I get it right.

However, if this is a cause of frustration for players, I agree that Anet should reconsider vistas as part of completion requirements. I don’t think that platforming should be a forced thing. They should be able to stand on their own for those who enjoy that sort of thing.

The vistas I did accomplish were fun just because they were there, not because I felt forced to go and get them. I wasn’t even thinking about map completion at the time. So I think there’s incentive to complete vistas without it being an overall map thing. Perhaps vistas could give titles or something completely separate instead?

What do you guys think?

I’m going to have so much trouble trying to sleep tonight! Gotta try. Work comes early tomorrow. You guys get some rest, too. With any luck, I’ll see some of you tomorrow!

If you’d like my GW2 user name to friend me, feel free to send an ask and we can exchange! :)
