Hey folks who like monsters.

This is Zhaitan. He’s the big bad antagonist undead Elder Dragon from Guild Wars 2. This is his model, but lacks the shaders, light FX, and various glows that are on him in game. In the game, he looks grey, white, and green.

He is enormous - so enormous that his model dwarfs some of the in-game settlements. In lore, he was asleep beneath the sunken peninsula of Orr and, on waking, pushed the entire thing back up out of the ocean. This also caused the ocean to react pretty badly and wipe out some of the coastal cities, such as Lion’s Arch. However, Zhaitan is probably not the largest elder dragon. That would likely be Kralkatorrik, but no one’s really sure yet.

Zhaitan’s entire body is composed of the corpses of other dragons. I took the liberty of outlining him in the second image so you can tell what you’re looking at, he’s a bit of a mess. A beautifully designed, Eldritch mess. Still images do not do him justice. He is a flying ball of writhing horrors.
