So, I’d been thinking, while this whole Dragon Bash thing was going on, that it would be a good time to do some recruiting. So I talked to one of the Pact soldiers I knew was good with art, and made a couple recruiting posters.
(Translation, assuming the New Krytan font I downloaded is correct and I didn’t misspell anything: Commander Okhurous Wants You! For the Pact Expeditionary Forces.)
The artist wanted me to point with my right hand—something about some famous human picture. That was enough to get me to point with my left.
(Translation: What? No more tanks!?

Yeah, I’d probably look about like that if our tanks all broke down…
Anyway, don’t be surprised if you see some posters like this around Lion’s Arch and the other major cities soon.
Day 58. Show some love to the GW2 Tumblr community, and recommend some of your favorite GW2 blogs.
I watch too many blogs and have made too many Tumblr friends to answer this question without fear of leaving someone out. I don’t say this lightly, but I think the GW2 community on Tumblr is a really amazing and talented group of people. This is the first (and pretty much only) Tumblr fandom I’ve been a part of, and there’s too many awesome blogs to list.
Instead, here’s my like page. You’ll find a ton of great Tumblrs there, many of which I sincerely like and respect. Thanks for being amazing, guys!
Day 57. What would be your Number 1 pick for a new playable race (again, doesn’t have to be plausible)?
My answer remains skritt. Though I’d love to see tengu or centaur playable races, as well. I don’t see the need to create a new race simply because GW2 has more than enough official races to pick from.

Well, maybe with a tweak to the playstyle. I was never a huge fan of the enchantment thing… I just wanted to run around and beat on monsters with a scythe. Give me my scythe back, please, Anet! : <
PS. Not a scythe skin. A REAL scythe. Melee weapon. Yes.

Day 55. Have you read the novels written to close some of the gap between GW1 and GW2 (Ghost of Ascalon, Edge of Destiny)?
Yep. I read them both last summer while I was waiting for GW2 to release. If you’re someone who enjoys lore, I’d suggest them. They’re not classical literature quality, but not bad books, either. Quick, light reads.

The Dragon Bash reaches its climax on June 18 with the effigy lighting ceremony, a single-player instance called Memories on the Pyre.
Day 54. If the game mechanics allowed you to side with the Nightmare Court, the Inquest, the Bandits, the Flame Legion, or the Sons of Svanir, would you?
Probably not. I think the rival-type factions for each race is cool, but not something I’ve ever had an itch to play. Then again, I’m a goody two shoes. :)
The only draw that would have for me is if there’s some really awesome lore I could pick up by playing an alternate faction story line. I’d play it then, but I’m still not convinced that I could get into the mindset and philosophy of the “other side.”
